SNOWBOARDS We carry snowboards from 115cm to 166cm in size, for skill levels from beginner to expert, made for mountain riders, jibbers and park people. Our main brands are Lib-Tech, Gnu, DC, Roxy, Omatic and Arbor with a few other models thrown in from time to time. In Lib-Tech we carry the 2010 model of the #1 board from 2008-2009, the Skate Banana. With a rocker and Magne-Traction, this board has changed the snowboarding landscape. In simple terms, a rocker puts the lowest part of the board between your feet and the tip and tail of the board are up off the snow. This gives the rider a very centered, in-control feeling. It enables the board to turn quickly, without the ends dragging through the snow. It reacts faster to give you better control in the Park, among the trees, and anywhere on the mountain. Magne-Traction looks like a wave around the edges of the board. It gives you more control in turns, even in icy conditions- especially important with our Mid-Western winters, and just makes snowboarding easier and more fun. We also carry the Lib-Tech McKink. The McKink is built like the Skate Banana, but has a "kink," an upturned tip and tail that allow you to glide over deep powder or ungroomed, back country runs. The Gnu line is a sister company to Lib-Tech, and they share a lot of technology. All of our 2009-2010 Gnu boards have Banana technology and Magne-Traction. We also carry women's models of Gnu boards. We carry the Park Pickle, Carbon Credit Series, B-Street and B-Nice models. DC has been making quality snowboots and snow outerwear for years. Two years ago they added snowboards to their product lines. All made with the same attention to detail, performance, durability and style as their other lines. We carry the BDR, XFB2, PBJ2 and BFT models. Omatic snowboards are a new line we are carrying. A Pro-Rider owned company, those riders want to bring you the best products they can at affordable prices. Those rider/owners design boards that they like to ride, that perform up to their standards, and with which you will enjoy shredding the mountain. We carry the Celebrity, the Awesome, the EXTR-ECO Wigglestick, and the youth Buzz and Blast models. The Roxy snowboards were made to cater to a woman's smaller frame, shoe size and weight. No need to struggle with a board that does not suit you. These are not just "frilly boards." They are made with the latest technology, such as Magne-Traction, that won several of their boards the Good Wood award. Magne-Traction gives the board more maneuverability, better balance and better edge control. With models to suit the beginner, the jib/park girl, or the all mountain expert, they will enhance your boarding experience. Check them out at "roxy.com/snow" In the Arbor line, we carry the A-Frame, Element, Draft, Del Rey and Formula models. They are technically advanced all mountain boards with beautiful real wood top sheets of Koa, Maple and Walnut that will set you apart on the slopes.
We have various models and brands left over from previous seasons on sale for $100. Other boards are on sale for $150- $200 from Santa Cruz, Ride, Nidecker, Palmer and other companies. We also handle trade-ins, but they usually do not last long. Call for trade-in availability
We also welcome trade-ins. If your board is now too small, too old, too used or not as advanced as you are now, bring it in and we will take the trade-in value off the price of your new ride.
We will gladly package and ship any board anywhere in the USA that UPS deliveries to for $35. Orders over $400 qualify for free shipping. If you cannot stop in, call for more information, 708-588-1400, or e-mail us atinfo@tbskate.com
"This board rips! It rides everything from parks to powder. the magna traction allows for solid grip on firm pack or ice. The banana lets you crush it in the park with better ollies, butters and less edge catch." Jaime on the McKink

OMATIC This is a new company for us. We added it because we wanted to offer something for the boarder who wants maximum performance but isn't interested in sporting big name brands (such as Burton) and is price conscious! Todd Richards is now one of the pros who started, own, run and ride for this company. These are his words:
"When I first started riding, it didn't cost you a kidney to get yourself in the game. Now with lift tickets close to 100 bucks, over 50 bucks to fill up your tank, and the cost of the bangin' new kit on top of that....you have to be the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air just to step into the ring! So at Omatic, we decided the best way to make a difference was in the wallet. We set out to give the consumer an outstanding ride at a bangin' price. I can now say, with much confidence, that we have succeeded in this goal and then some!" Todd Richards

We carry adult sizes that can handle foot sizes from 6 to 14. The Flow binding revolution continues and Flow has now grown to become the number two binding sold worldwide! This momentum is sure to continue as they keep improving their models while maintaining Flow's trademark "Performance, Comfort and Convenience" philosophy. Flow is the only brand that combines the three key features no rider should be without: the original reclining hiback, the one-piece 3-D Powerstrap, and Power Triangle Technology. Flow continues to improve the IN-UP-GO experience and provide the best possible link to your board. We have some "last year" models for 10, 20 and even 30% off, while supplies last. SNOWBOARD BOOTS We currently carry boots from Vans, Roxy, Flow and Nidecker. Over the past two years we have really stressed a move into the Boa lacing systems. The Boa system is basically a metal lace that is coiled around a dial. Once the dial is engaged, a simple turn of the dial tightens the lace. To loosen the lace, simply disengage the dial. If you have ever spent ten minutes lacing up your boots, and finished in a full sweat from being dressed for the cold, or done one run and then had to sit down and spend 10 minutes untying and re-tying your boots because they were too tight or too loose- you will appreciate, and love, boa technology! We have traditional boots too for those who still prefer that style. Our boas from Vans are the Encore and Fargo Focus models. From Flow, we have the The One-Boacoiler model. In the Roxy line, we have four different color styles of the Leilani. Boas are reasonably priced too with models starting as low as $169.95 before any package discounts. No matter what brand, model or style you choose, after you have made your selection and are comfortable with the fit, we personalize the fit of your new boots. We pre-heat the interior of the boots and then have you put them on and wander around the store for ten minutes. This helps the padding in the boots "pack out" to conform to your foot shape. This takes the place and time of your having to break your new boots in by wearing them around the house for several hours. You can go right from here to the hill. There is never a charge for this service, nor is there a charge for installation of any binding bought here that we attach to your board, no matter where your board is from.
