TOTALLY BOARD IS CLOSING WE HAVE DECIDED TO CEASE OPERATION, BUT WE HAVE EXTENDED OUR EXPECTED CLOSING DAY TO JANUARY 18. TODAY'S ECONOMIC CLIMATE DOES NOT FAVOR SMALLER BUSINESSES, AND SO MANY PEOPLE WOULD RATHER SHOP ONLINE THAN IN PERSON. We are a different type of Skate/Snow shop than with what you may be familiar. Everyone is welcome here whether you are brand new to skating or still have your old Variflex with Gull Wings. We have more than 300 different decks on the wall from over 25 companies, that you can handle and stand on to help in making your selection. We carry more than 12 brands of trucks, 20 brands of wheels and 30 types of bearings, including the items you need for long boards or old school decks. There are no charges for assembly of our products, nor for transferring any of your old parts to your new set up. We carry much more clothing than the average skate shop. There are racks and racks of jeans, hoodies, long and short sleeve tees, hats and beanies. Our sizes range from youth small, including jeans down to a 22" waist, to adult XL. We have clothing from most of the major skate companies, plus Volcom, Quiksilver, Analog, Roxy, Foursquare and Billabong. We add more companies if enough customers are looking for new lines. What we do not have is an attitude or an "in crowd" atmosphere. Everyone has to start someplace and we want everyone to feel comfortable and welcome in coming here. Even parents do not mind coming, and we have an employee that is older than most of your parents! The music is not too loud and is usually classic rock. The store is bright and well lit. There are skate and snow videos playing all the time and there are many things to see. We are located in the heart of downtown LaGrange, IL., a rather old fashioned small town atmosphere with great restaurants, chocolate shops and other specialty retail stores. There is ample parking and a new parking deck one half block south of the store behind the Village Hall. We have been here for more than five years and expect to be here far longer. We do not have permission from some companies yet to take internet orders, but if you call us we would be more than glad to process your order and UPS it out to you. We only take orders for items we have in stock. If you place an order with us, you are guaranteed to get it.
